[mythtv-users] OT: dislocated tuner connector

The tuner connector on my PVR-500 has popped out of its socket and is dangling by the inner core wire.  I am unable to push/screw/shove/coax/cajole it back into place.  While I do intend to purchase a HVR-2250 as a replacement, once that device is usuable, that day is not today.  Has anyone else had this problem and solved it without purchasing a new card?
