XvMC (X-Video Motion Control) is a way to get some hardware assist in
playing back MPEG2. It is used by nVidia cards if you use their drivers.

Your log looks like Myth is trying to use it. There is a checkbox
somewhere to tell it to do so, I'd try and find it and uncheck it.

Sorry I can't recall just where that checkbox is, should be in the
frontend setup someplace.

So you can playback a stream outside of Myth, which means your hardware
can deal with the video format and your CPU is fast enough.

Can you have Myth make a recording? Will that recording playback with
mplayer? Will it playback with Myth?
