[mythtv-users] irrecord problems

Have you tried xmode2 to see what the waveform looks
like. I built my own ir receiver and the receiver
picks up a bit of noise. This'll cause a problem with
irrecord as you'll get the gap issues. I've noticed
that too about irrecord not detecting some buttons but
by the time you get to the point of mapping buttons
all buttons should work; I think it has something to
do with the irrecord needs to determine the gap abd I
think it does it with a couple of passes. So start up
xmode2 and if you aren't pushing any buttons and you
see a waveform you could be getting stray signals.
