[mythtv-users] Slimmed down HD-Tivo!

It's been discussed before that it is possible to still gain network
access to the Tivo Series 3 HD's ring buffer and that it may be
possible to then use the Tivo as an external networked MythTV
recording device.

Well, Tivo just announced a $300 slimmed down HD-Tivo. It still dual
tuner, still supports CableCard, but is much devoid of features that
us MythTV users don't really need/care about. We'll have to watch the
Tivo forums and see how the Tivo hacking progresses.
