[mythtv-users] Myth log errors and Frontend crashes

I am a newbie to MythTV and Linux, so please help point me in the right direction.

See below for my hardware/software setup.

I have 3 issues I would like help with:

1. I am getting errors when the backend starts (full log of backend start at the end of this post):

2. My Frontend has locked up a few times. I think it is only when I tried watching the NTSC tuner while recording on the ATSC tuner and I exited watching live NTSC TV. The screen was frozen (blank or Myth frontend main menu). I had to power down and re-start. I had to run the optimize perl script to get things working again. Maybe it is just that my hardware can't handle it, but I guess I hoped it would exit gracefully and not crash. I haven't actually gotten the NTSC tuner working so that may be part of the issue. I am mostly interested in recording HD, so the NTSC tuner is lower priority. I put a log of this happening a the end of the post. 

I followed these instructions to install the NVidia drivers:

3. I get stuttering while watching live ATSC TV or while watching recorded ATSC content. Should I be able to get smooth playback with the hardware I have?

I have an Intel D845GRG
motherboard with built-in Intel Video. I upgraded after installing Ubuntu/Myth to an Asus NVidia
6200 AGP 8X(running at 4X due to limit of my MB)) video card running the NVidia proprietary drivers . Intel P4
2.4Ghz, 1GB PC3200 DDR, Ubuntu Feisty 7.04, up to date patches

KWorld ATSC110 tuner (has NTSC and ATSC tuners)
