Explain to me something about the "misuse". I presume they were
referring to people selling commercial MythTV systems, and using a
Zap2It account to get listings for that system. Were they using one
account for all of the systems they sold, or setting up a new account
for each customer?

If the latter, how is any different from someone buying all the computer
parts from NewEgg and hiring someone to come over and set up the system
for them? The end result is the same, someone makes profit (NewEgg for
selling the system and the guy hired to set it up in one case, the
commercial system provider in the other) and there is one more person
downloading data every night. From TMS's view, what exactly is the
difference? Only the end user is using the data, and that end user is
the same guy no matter where he bought his system, is he not?

If the former, again, where's the harm, unless their system couldn't
support one account having multiple simultaneous logins (and in which
case they could simply have denied that, and messed up most of the
commercial system installs at a stroke, so I assume that isn't the case).

If it wasn't the commercial systems that was the source of the "misuse",
then please ignore all of the above.

Jeff.
