I've noticed that too, except I don't really record anything on
Nickelodeon. I've noticed that recordings from Cartoon Network
(specifically Aqua Teen Hunger Force) has NO description, or real
subtitle. This happens sometimes with MythBusters or reruns of Star
Trek on TV Land. This is something I've come to live with, and always
assumed it just wasn't worth their time or money to insert this data,
or they weren't getting it, or anything like that. However, it is
kind of annoying to have three recordings of MythBusters sitting on
my Myth box, all of them the same episode, with the same description,
and subtitle, yet none of them flagged as reruns or duplicates or
already-recorded...

I've also noticed my shows were all... off, as if every channel's
schedules changed by one slot. My first guess was that my clock was
off, but my Myth box's clock is correct. So, unless *every* channel
that DataDirect covers changed their schedules simultaneously...

They did? This is news to me (honestly). I honestly had no clue that
they even cared about these complaints. I mean, we get it for free...

Well, ReplayTV gets its listings from elsewhere, so that'll explain
the difference.

Yeah, I'll admit that. But at least it's free.
