[mythtv-users] QAM tuner vrs Firewire

Hi,

I am thinking about getting digital cable to receive HD via firewire.

It seems that firewire is somewhat flaky for some people.  I know that you
cant get 5C'd stuff over firewire only the "in the clear" stuff.

I have a HDHomeRun that has a QAM tuner. My question is will i get the exact
same channels over firewire as my HDHR tuner?

Or is it different?
