[mythtv-users] QAM tuner vrs Firewire

If you are lucky, firewire will get you *EVERY SINGLE CHANNEL* you can
tune to with your cable box.  For me, this is the case.  It includes
all SD channels (which are actually digital for me), all HD
channels... everthing.  I only pickup about 6 QAM HD channels with my
pci cards, all "network" stations of course... and hidden, in that you
have to scan for them by hand and label em and such.

If you got cable, I'd say its worth $20 or so to find out if their
firewire is good or not.  If you don't have cable, signing up for it
w/o knowing *anything* is kind of a pot shot :(
