[mythtv-users] power failure - now lirc stopped working

Wild guess
Check that there is no a stale lock hanging around in /var/lock/subsys?
*Some* init.d startup scripts have a line to clear this. Mythbackend
does but most do not, including lircd in my FC$ setup.
I'm thinking of adding this to all of these scripts.
