[mythtv-users] is mythtv smart enough to do this(overlap/back-to-back) with recordings?

Well, you could increase the system's soft padding, which is global
for all recordings.   Or am I missing something about what you call
the recycle time?  I have a pvr-250, and when I do adjacent shows,
I miss at most a couple of seconds.  (Not that zero would not be
nice.)
