For me they're the same. I record videos off air. Sorry for

The link I quoted?
It does backup various tables that do not hold paths at all.
Those tables reference to default storagegroups which are not mentioned
elsewhere (as far as I found).
Also I have a 0.21.somethign setup and I do not know how much truth the
documentation has for that version. That is why I asked here.
Because of teh various responses it appears that what I want is not an
easy task.

Originally (in the old path) there was already a trailing slash which
did not show in the logs.
Only change is that the old path is /mnt/store/ and new path is /MythTV/
So there is a different amount of slashes.
Also use of filenames (!) for paths points to an issue there.

Can I in that case try to *understand* why that procedure would work?
It backups tables.
It makes a change via the setup program (If I recall).
It restores the tables.
If the setup program only changes the RecordFilePrefix, what is different?
