My digitalnow DNTV Live! card definately does both at the same time.
I'm watching a 'Live TV' station on DVB and my seperate DVD player is
running in a PiP window at the moment. Not actually useful that way
around, but it proves it can run both aspects at the same time.
All I did was the above - went and added a 'standard V4L capture
card', so both aspects of the card are running at the same time,
The DNTV is a cx88 based card.
