I've got a couple of systems running with RAID - one hardware and one
software. I've not noticed any performance differences between them and
CPU usage is minimal (one or two percent). Neither of the systems are
running Myth, but are doing other I/O intensive processing (transcoding,
file serving, backups, etc).
