[mythtv-users] HDTV cards...looking to the future

So it's going to be 2 years before you buy an HDTV? If you're a 
pessimist, buy a card now and put it on a shelf. The pcHDTV card is 
$170. For me, that's too much to spend on something that's just going to 
be gathering dust for 2 years. If you're an optimist, figure that people 
won't let something as odious as the BFlag stand for 2 years and wait 
until it's struck down and better technology comes along. You never 
know, the PVR software in 2 years could run best on computers without 
(or with a limited number of) circa-2005 PCI slots.
