That's what I have in th mythtv home dir

[mythtv at video ~]$ ls -l .lircrc
-rw-rw-r--  1 mythtv mythtv 6322 jui  5 22:42 .lircrc


[mythtv at video ~]$ ls -l .mythtv/lircrc
lrwxrwxrwx  1 mythtv mythtv 20 jui  5 21:34 .mythtv/lircrc -
