[mythtv-users] RE:Re:OT: Launch Mythfrontend remotely via ssh

Thanks all.....the following command (courtesy of mythtv at eeeCooks.com ) was the magic phrase:
 
DISPLAY=:0.0 nohup mythfrontend &
 
This, when entered into my puTTY ssh yeilded mythfrontend to launch on my frontend/backend desktop.
 
The help is much appreciated!
