Yes, there is a bttv mailing list, that is where you should be asking
about this, IMO. Personally, I had huge problems getting bttv-0.9.12 to
work for me. I eventually discovered that the stock Mandrake 9.2 kernel
already has the bttv 0.7 stuff already in it, I just used that stuff and
all works well. I haven't attempted to move the bt878 card over to the
mythtv box yet, so I cannot comment on that.
As to the bttv mailing list, it appears to be a well kept secret, but
