Also, forgot to mention... have you checked out the mythchannels add-on?  I
haven't completely figured out what its supposed to do because I haven't
installed it, but I think it "sets up" channels and things without depending
on XMLTV...look at it at

official yet nor even in CVS, i think there are some programming
disagreements they're working on... but still worth checking on.. in fact
thats what i'm gonna do myself right now, i think it might solve a channel
remapping problem I was pondering a few days ago(?)

ask questions about it in the dev list not here, as its not official.
