Huh. I suppose that's possible, because you should definitely hear 
audio from the card when live TV is active and you have your speakers 
hooked directly to it... I haven't heard of any TV cards that allow 
their line out to be muted, as there generally isn't any reason for 
that, so that's odd (or there is such a thing, and I've never come 
across it)...
