putting the driver dll in a subdirectory of the run directory did the trick
i had put it in /qt/lib and that did not work (i will check to see if
/qt/lib/sqldrivers works)
as i have a working myth configurataion i pointed my new windows
frontend at my existing master backend and how i can watch tv, play
recordings, etc.
as i haven't rebuilt qt yet (a task for tomorrow) there are a few
strange things going on.
after watching a recording i cannot go backc into live tv
there seems to be something weird with muting - after jumping forward or
back the sound is muted. an unmute fixes that, so this is not a show
stopper.
i cannot change channel or pull up the menu or the osd
the picture obscures the title bar of the window and it is not possible
to run in non-windowed mode
the volume control doesn't seem to work
i cannot change tuners (the Y command).
but i have to say - fantastic work everyone. i would think that this
will be ready for prime time in about another 3-4 weeks (at the current
rate).
regards
