i suppose it stems from my use of mythtv
i went to the program guide and said record a program on the selected
channel every week at this time
i had expected it to record the instance i selected
instead it decided to record another feed

i don't think the whole distinction between the scheduler and the
program schedule is well defined
it might be as far as the developers are concerned, but it sure confused me

for example, if i'm watching live-tv and i say record - will to possibly
switch input based on it's idea of which is the best
in this instance record this channel means record this channel number,
not record this callsign
