As long as the changes are clear and concise it is just a
matter of reading the code for problems. The change must
be made in smallish patches though. I can review changes
in the players, but any changes in NVR Issac would have
to review, etc.

Yep, he's been very clear on this, and I agree with him.
It should be part of the regular application, the reasons
have all been gone through before so I'll just suggest
searching the archives.

I can do the recorder side for DVB if someone makes
VideoOutput work with non-video MPEG's.

This wouldn't be too hard either, it is just a few changes
in NVR. But here the problem is the lack of listings data.
