Hi guys,

I'm also in MA using Comcrap cable and having the same problem. Here is the
previous thread in the users list about this same issue.

It seems that Comcast is not providing the PSIP data as they should be.

I called Comcast and was told to contact Jen Cody at 617-562-4302 regarding
the lack of PSIP data and have gotten no response. Every time I have
attempted to contact her I only get voicemail and never a callback.

According to FCC regulations

/cfr_2004/octqtr/pdf/47cfr76.640.pdf

(b) No later than July 1, 2004, cable operators shall support

unidirectional digital cable products, as defined in Sec. 15.123 of

this chapter, through the provisioning of Point of Deployment modules

(PODs) and services, as follows:

<snip>

(iv) For each digital transport stream that includes one or more

services carried in-the-clear, such transport stream shall include

virtual channel data in-band in the form of ATSC A/65B: ``ATSC Standard:

Program and System Information Protocol for Terrestrial Broadcast and

Cable (Revision B)'' (incorporated by reference, see Sec. 76.602), when

available from the content provider. With respect to in-band transport:

    (A) The data shall, at minimum, describe services carried within the

transport stream carrying the PSIP data itself;

I provided some information in the users thread about how I got the data
into the table however it did not work well and I had issues with both audio
and video artifacing. Streaming the HD over my network to another PC did not
have these problems. And no I can not blame the artifacing on the myth box
as it is a p4 3.2 with a geforce 5700. Hoping to setup my antenna sometime
this weekend provided it does not rain again. Lol

Regards

Marc
