Partially, you will still want to remove the DEFINES += USING_OSS from 
the main settings.pro.  But it doesn't hurt anything to leave it there.

Hmm, don't know.  I've never seen that error.  Maybe cd into the 
libs/libmyth directory and run qmake libmyth.pro manually?  Oh wait, are 
you running qt 3.3?  If not, it is probably just a mismatch (as I am 
running 3.3).  Try the qmake libmyth.pro to generate a new Makefile.

Nope, I just removed the volumecontrol.{h,cpp} from libmyth.pro and 
remade the Makefile.
