[mythtv] Via EPIA M as a frontend, seperating the databases

I know this. But it encodes MPEG2 at SVCD quality fine on my PIII/450 under
windows
so i was figuring that it should be ok if not better under linux. I just
want it to software
encode MPEG2 streams so the decoder can use them.
