Yes, this sounds good.  That program can output in VDR format, and scan can
also output in VDR format with the latest cvs version (although it seems a
bit buggy).

I think that the scan program should work for everyone though, so I might
suggest that this is an easier program to parse the output from.  I think
that scan gives different output for each type of card, so perhaps a generic
parser can be produced.

Can someone with a DVB-S or DVB-C card send the output from "scan".  You may
need to compile it seperately, but it should come with the dvb driver
source.
