Something does not add up.

build_package.sh calls config.sh then build.sh then package.sh

config.sh removes the DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX directory and the build-qt5 
directory, so removing them before starting is not actually necessary.

Did you pull the latest from the packaging repository?
