Hi

Following on from a couple of MythWeb discussions....

Can I ask why the MythWeb replacement 'app' doesn't actually do what
MythWeb does?

I'm currently testing a new (v34) setup since my machine from 2009 may not
have much life left and is on MythBuntu 14.04 & Myth v.25 8^(

I can't see how the new 'app' compares with the simplicity of the old
stuff, eg upcoming recordings on MythWeb I can see a whole week on one
screen, yet the 'app' not only doesn't separate the days but needs to
scroll after a few items, worse still it doesn't show the don't
record/never record buttons, which means on a tablet it's a right pain to
quickly drop just one scheduled recording without fiddling with the entire
recording rule?

The program guide in MythWeb = 12 nice lines easy to read, new 'app' = 5
lines with masses of white space around each and a title that spans some
sort of common coloured heading line and then the colour block (film, news
etc)?

it looks like it's trying to be a TV Schedule Guide?  Oh and the logos
don't show anywhere...

Am I missing something or is it really like that?

At this point I should say I'm ever so grateful to all those who started
and have kept Myth going and for all the time they give, but it's as though
the versatility of the web based backend is being forgotten about?
