If the capture card fails, goes offline, signal stops, etc. it still
shows recording until the original end time. However in those cases it
will show the recording as damaged. Perhaps when you stop the recording
it cancels the damaged indicator. Look at the backend log and see if
there are any error messages during the time when it was not actually
recording.
