I have just switched from a rapi 4B to a NUC. There is not a lot of 
difference apart from the Pi boot being slightly more difficult to 
understand.

If you want a combined front and back end I think the NUC is better due 
to VAAPI being well supported in mythtv 31.

The Firestick 4k or Shield TV make a better front end though.
