You will find some videos also need it populated.  Before I startedusing
Kodi to play videos, I used mythvideo and the time to jump forward and back
is considerable when watching VC1 videos.  When you run mythcommflag:

 mythcommflag --rebuild --video filename.ext

on your videos and get the seek tables populated, the jumps are instant.
