[mythtv-users] which drive?

I use a WD Red 2TB since 6 years in a combined MythTV FE/BE. The computer
does not run 24/7. It starts according to planned recordings (MythWelcome)
or by wake on lan from different clients. The OS is stored on an SSD. In
this setup I did not have any HDD problems at all.

In my NAS I also use WD RED drives (WD60EFRX). They are silent and do not
make any „Seagate Clicks“. The Seagate Click seems to be annoying
(according to comments on Amazon etc.).
