but f27 to f28 was fairly painless; so perhaps I'll go that way.

mythtv-30.Pre.943.g1480116eea-100.el7.src.rpm and 
mythtv-plugins-30.Pre.943.g1480116eea-100.el7.src.rpm.  Will try to 
install when quiet.
