[mythtv-users] when is a mythfrontend preview captured?

This afternoon I had a football game recorded. The frontend Watch Recordings 
preview image showed the score as 20-10, kind of a spoiler. That snapshot was 
at least 53 minutes into a 3.5-hour recording. I had a very vague recollection 
that previews are done 10 minutes into a recording, but that doesn't appear to 
be the case.

So what is the algorithm for gathering previews?
