If you're just wanting to see what's on, what's wrong with going into
the Programme Guide directly from the menu (obviously, where that is
depends on what menu theme you have). I've recently found that you can
press 'm' on a show and select "Watch this Channel", which will then
transfer you into Live TV on that channel.
