I had some news this morning about these transmissions, I’m working in Munich this week and a colleague has a DVBT2 receiver running. He says there are encrypted channels in the T2 Mux but that the public TV channels are free to air, so it may be possible to pick out those channels with MythTV.
I will be re-installing my server perhaps later this week so I should get chance to try with MythTV when I bring my spare T2 receiver next month. Currently my satellite feed at home is faulty so the spare T2 receiver is used by MythTV in the UK.
I should get a 5 minute transport stream recording from the DVBT2 mux in Munich sometime this week, the signal is strong enough to receive indoors in Unterfohring.

Well if it’s really FTA unencrypted these parts will be impossible to enforce!
