[mythtv-users] OT: Fedora 25 & nodm / ratpoison

Hi,


Slightly off topic, but related to my MythTV frontend ...


For years I've been using KDM/KDE for a MythTV frontend and for the 
interest factor (rather than resource requirement) I want to try nodm 
with ratpoison on Fedora 25.  However, I'm not getting very far ...


If I stop kdm.service and start nodm.service I can see no evidence of 
nodm trying to start the configured xsession. However, nodm just keeps 
cycling and reporting "Server terminated successfully".  The content of 
/etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc does not appear to get executed.


Any ideas?
