Actually I've been through all that with this card and I actually have
a monitor running in the background that will alert me in MythTV if
the temperature gets high. I've replaced the fan on this card several
times actually, including a few weeks ago. The fan is working
perfectly and the temperatures peak at just over 80C for 1080i and the
highest deinterlace quality right now. Definitely not the issue this
time I'm afraid.
