Yeah - I spent some time with Seagate Support and they told me unless my
raid vendor implemented the call in their firmware, then the drives would
not save the setting.  They are going to release another firmware to make
them raid friendly supposedly - I should go check if they have done it
yet.  I have had these in service for over 6 months since this started.
