Hi everyone,

I am having trouble tracking down why mythweb is unable to connect to my
backend. Mythweb reports:

Unable to connect to the master backend at 192.168.20.100:6543.
Is it running?

The backend is running.

I thought I may have had the mythtv database password wrong somewhere since
I changed it during the upgrade, but it's correct in the apache2 mythweb
conf file. The old password was left in the /usr/share/mythtv directory in
the config.xml file so I changed it there and after restarting apache2 I
still get the same error.

The mythbackend.log file is not reporting an error corresponding exactly to
my issue with mythweb, but there are an awful lot of lines like the
following repeated:

May 4 16:21:35 compuxeon mythbackend: mythbackend[914]: E

May 4 16:21:36 compuxeon mythbackend: mythbackend[914]: N CoreContext
mainserver.cpp:7978 (reconnectTimeout) MainServer: Connected successfully

Any ideas as to what's going wrong or where I have an incorrect password
left behind?

TIA,

George
