[mythtv-users] Problem with LIRC after upgrade to Fedora 24

I didn't get as much time as I hoped for, but here is what I was able to
test. I am still running lirc 0.9.3a

Running with my current setup using the default driver, keys in fact
*never* repeat, no matter how long I hold it down. The fact that I had not
noticed this in two weeks show that I really don't use repeated keys in
Myth. I could live with this for a while, but it would be nice to get it so
that everything worked including intended repeats.

If I switch lirc_options to use the devinput driver, then the Streamzap
remote does not work at all in Myth. If I try to run ir-keytables -t with
lircd running using devinput, it doesn't see anything either. If I stop
lircd, then I get this:

If I hold the key down just a hair too long, I get bounces like below. The
repeat delay is a bit too short, as I really have to be quick on the
release to avoid a bounce. That might be OK for me, but the WAF drops
precipitously if she has to think about just how long she holds the button.
