G'day,

I have just now set the audio "Upmix to 5.1" and it doesn't make any difference.

It seems like the first ~3 seconds of the delay is waiting for the HDMI 
audio link to come up or suchlike.

The video starts, a few seconds delay, the "HDMI" light on the receiver GUI 
glows, then less than 1/2 second later the "pcm" and/or "DD" etc. lights 
come on.

Maybe I should SPDIF the audio to the receiver as Mr Bennett suggests in a 
previous response.
I did buy an SPDIF audio out bracket, etc. but I really wanted the HDMI 
all-in-one simple solution.
