While I have no personal experience, I understand their
internal cards ran hot too.  Note that it is perfectly OK
to run hot, as long as it is within the thermal profile.
Human fingers, on the other hand, might not enjoy a
60 degree (Celsius) encounter.

Somewhere I think someone posted the magic to reboot....

Here is what I saved away (intended as a cron entry running
once a week during the midnight hours):

    /usr/bin/wget --timeout=5 --tries=1 --post-data="cmd=reboot"
http://<IP>/command.cgi </dev/null >/dev/null 2>&1
