I'm pretty sure the box I had was a DCX3200, not sure about the suffix. 
  I used Firewire with Charter for a while before I got my Prime.  It 
worked, but Charter here also marks most channels Copy Freely, so 
whether your Firewire output is working or not will depend on how they 
set it up.
