I know it is a miscommunication issue. I do not know what.

Facts: Hdpvr was working (with some limitation) on Ubuntu 15.04. It does
not work with a fresh install on the same computer with ubuntu 14.04. It
does not work with A new computer running 15.10. It fills like some
misconfiguration. I cannot find what it is. I have been using HDPVR for
several years. This is the first time that I gave up on it.

Can I create my own tuner, which will basically be doing cat /dev/video0 >
video-file (or video2). Is there any guide for adding a tuner manually.
