[mythtv-users] DVD ISO plays in Mythavtest but not mythfrontend

Greetings all

A few months back I changed backend machine and moved from Gentoo to
Debian. Somewhere along the line I've lost my ability to watch a few of my
DVD ISO images. I know I could decrypt them again from the disks but since
it used to work I'd prefer the (if it exists) simpler route of just fixing
the problem rather than work round it.

VLC and mythavtest both play the file OK so I have libdvddecss installed
correctly and as far as I can see mythavtest accesses the backend but
unsure whether it streams the file or not.

I've installed all of Mythtv with the following sources line
  deb from http://mirror.optus.net/deb-multimedia jessie main non-free
and everything looks OK.

# ls -l /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libdvd*
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root     18 Aug  5  2014
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libdvdcss.so.2 -> libdvdcss.so.2.1.0
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root  34872 Aug  5  2014
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libdvdcss.so.2.1.0
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root     18 Aug 31  2014
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libdvdnav.so.4 -> libdvdnav.so.4.1.2
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root  83880 Aug 31  2014
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libdvdnav.so.4.1.2
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root     19 Aug 17  2014
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libdvdread.so.4 -> libdvdread.so.4.1.2
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 120672 Aug 17  2014
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libdvdread.so.4.1.2

Bit stumped really (as usual!!)

Cheers
