Hi,

Do you want to use the Mac Mini as a server for mythtv or as a frontend?

If you want to use it as a server, you should install mythbuntu on it.
Instructions for installing ubuntu can be found here :
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Macmini5-1/Precise. If you install
mythbuntu instead of ubuntu, then the installation is round about the same.

If you want to use it as a frontend, I _think_ you can just install a mac
os x version of the frontend. Found here :
