[mythtv-users] Commercial Removal

Mike,
Thanks for the response. I tried commercial removal a few days ago and it
worked great. I tried it yesterday and it didn't work at all.
>From how I read the wiki, it sounded like Myth flags the commercials (if
it's checked/selected) and will skip them on playback. If you want to cut
them from the show, you have to transcode the file. If you don't transcode
to a different codec, it just cuts the commercials out quickly.
Obviously, it's not working for me, so I'm wondering what I am doing wrong.
Thanks again for the response. I'm getting the feeling that it may not
automate things as much as I originally had thought...
