There were substantial changes in the UPnP code in master in mid-October 
last year, and I think some of them have probably made it into 
0.27-fixes.  I don't recall having problems with my Panasonic TV now in 
0.27.4 (F21) or master (*buntu) - except a tendency to stop playing mp3 
files 30-ish minutes in.
